Associate Pastor/Senior Adults and Pastoral Care

First Baptist Church, Prattville, Alabama is a multi-generational congregation that is devoted to the Word, centered on Jesus, committed to one another, and sent on mission. Located in south-central Alabama, the church has a rich history of sharing the gospel and ministering locally, state-wide, nationally, and internationally. The church is a Pastor led, committee driven fellowship, where the Associate Pastor will assist the Lead Pastor in the development and implementation of the overall ministries and missions of FBCP and lead the Senior Adult ministry and Pastoral Care functions of the church.

In addition to meeting the biblical qualifications for a Pastor/Overseer found in Ephesians 4:11-13, 1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, and 1 Peter 5:1-3, the ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiencies in proclamation of the Word, working with Senior Adults, pastoral care ministries for all ages, and servant leadership. His heart language should call  people to repent and believe the Gospel, and he should be a disciple who makes disciples. He should be a Christ-follower who is on mission, living by the Great Commandment, following the Great Commission, and engaging in the Great pursuit of the nations.
