Local

English as a Second Language (ESL)

Join us as we develop relationships with friends from many nations. Opportunities to serve include: ESL teachers, helpers, childcare, hospitality and online classes. ESL classes meet Thursdays from 9:30-11:30 a.m. and 6:30-8:30 p.m. We also offer ESL Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. on Sundays.

Mixtec Church Ministry

We have two opportunities in Montgomery to reach this indigenous group from Southern Mexico. The first opportunity is on the second Sunday of each month. We provide a meal and children's activities. The second opportunity to serve in with Mixtec VBS on Sunday evenings in June. Contact the Missions Office to serve.

Food Drive

Serve with Community of Hope in south Montgomery through their twice monthly food drive. Volunteers are needed for evangelism, prayer and food distribution. The food drive is weekly during morning hours.



Love Your City

April 11, 2025 - Families can volunteer to serve together at various locations throughout the city. Sign up will be online.

National

California (Student Ministry)

The mission is March 21-25, 2026. Ministry includes evangelism, community outreach, and worship service preparation. The cost is $800. The deadline to apply is February 22, 2026.


New York: Jackson Heights Community Church

This mission is May 16-23, 2026. On this mission, Adult ESL (English as a Second Language) volunteers will lead two ESL CAMPS at the South Asia Community Center. The cost is $500. The deadline to apply is December 1, 2025. The interest meeting is November 13 at 12:00 pm.


Southeast Alaska: Liberty Church

This mission is June 5-16, 2026. We will serve with Liberty Church, Craig in an outreach ministry to other churches. Ministry will include outreach events, children's ministry and student ministry. Families are welcome! The cost is $1,200. The deadline to apply is December 8, 2025. The interest meeting is November 16, 2025.


Whitefish, Montana

We will drive cross-country and be part of VBS and outreach ministry through FBCP partner, Summit Life Church. This is a great family mission! This mission is July 16-29, 2026. The cost is $200 + travel meals. The deadline to apply is January 5, 2026. The interest meeting is December 7 at 3:00 p.m.


Las Vegas, Nevada

We will partner with Jack and Kayla Diven. This team will help with outreach events and encouragement for this  church plant. The cost is $750. The trip will be in September 2026. The deadline to apply has not been set yet. The interest meeting is January 20 at 6:00 PM. Contact the missions office if interested. 


New Orleans, Louisiana (Senior Adult Ministry)

Join a team of Senior Adults to minister with our partners in New Orleans. We will be involved with homeless ministries and recovery ministries. The mission is September 21 - 25, 2026. The cost is $350. The deadline to apply and interest meeting has not been set yet.


Global

South Asia

The team will train church planters and gospel workers. Space is limited. The Cost is $1,200. This mission is January 27-February 9, 2026. The deadline to apply is November 9, 2025 and the interest meeting is October 6 at 5:00 p.m.


Guatemala (Student Ministries)

A Spring Break ministry for 9th-12th grade students and parents. Requires monthly training attendance. Applications are due and interviews are held each August. The mission will be March 21-28, 2025. The cost is $1,800.


Guatemala (Medical)

Volunteer physicians, nurses and pharmacists will work alongside local churches to provide care at a temporary clinic in a rural area. Volunteers are also needed to assist with registration and evangelism at the clinics. For updates and to participate, contact the missions office. 


Scotland

The team will partner with Shettleston Baptist Church, a church replant. We will provide a Holiday Club (VBS) for children and a Block Party at the end of the week. We will also do prayer walking and hold outreaches in a local park.

The mission is June 26-July 7, 2025. The cost is $1,500. The interest meeting is October 19 at 4 p.m. The deadline to apply is November 10.


Puerto Rico (Student Ministry)

This mission is for 11th and 12th grade students and includes light construction and evangelism projects. The mission is July 11-17, 2026. The deadline to apply is November 8, 2025. The cost is $1,600.


Passport costs, Visa fees and travel vaccinations are not included in the trip price. Some trip space is limited. Where space is available, non-FBCP members will pay an additional cost. Contact the missions office for updates.
