Parent Commissioning is an important time in the life of a child's family and First Baptist Prattville. Parent Commissioning is like a child dedication service, but with the priority focus on commissioning parents to raise the child to know and love God. It is also a time where we, as a church, will commit to serve alongside parents in helping their child know Jesus. If you recently had a baby, adopted or joined our church, you may want to participate in this celebration time. In order to participate, parents must be growing Christ followers and members of First Baptist Prattville. If parents are participating together in the service, they must be following a biblical life. Applications are required in order to participate. Parent Commissioning happens twice a year, fall and spring. The fall commissioning will be Sunday, October 11 at 11 AM. A brunch for the family will preceed the service at 10 AM in the Fellowship Hall. Please apply by Sunday, October 4.
